One of the newest ores found in the Nether brought along with new biomes to the Nether. Ancient debris gives you Netherite scraps. These scraps can be used to make Netherite ingots. This allows you to upgrade your diamond armor, making it even stronger.
How to find Ancient debris
This block generates in the lower levels of the Nether, like Diamond in the Normal world. Some say the best way to find Netherite is the use of beds. If you have played Minecraft for a long time and love Survival mode. Then you know by placing a bed in the Nether, and sleeping on it will immediately explode. The explosions also have a bigger radius than the explosion from TNT. By doing this, you’ll be able to easily take chunks out of the Nether to find the ancient debris.
Don’t worry about blowing up the Ancient debris it’s blast resistance is as strong as obsidian.
How to get Netherite ingots and upgrade your armor
Got your ancient debris, good, now you must smelt your debris to get Netherite scraps. You’ll need four scraps and four gold ingots together that make one ingot to upgrade your diamond armor. To upgrade your armor you also need a smithing table to upgrade your gear.
Sadly any enchantments that are on your diamond weapons and armor will be lost in the process of upgrading. So you’ll need to enchant your new armor again. So if you want to upgrade your armor you’ll first need a smithing table. Put in the item you want to upgrade and the ingot, and now you are the proud owner of a Netherite armor/item.
