Since the release of the Crown tundra, people have found a new method of hunting shiny’s. But there are some pros and cons to this different method.
This method works with the new feature called Dynamax adventures. This new feature is you fighting multiple Dynamax Pokemon. That greatly increased the chances from 1/4096 to 1/100! And if you have a shiny charm, then your odds go all the way to a 1/25 chance of encountering a shiny pokemon during these raids. At the end of this adventure, you are then allowed to take one Pokemon.
Even though this seems very well, there have been arising problems. Since the odds of finding a shiny are so low, if these Pokemon are all shiny, you’ll have decided which one to take. For example, if you find three shiny Dynamax Pokemon by picking one of those others, you’ll lose the others, that is forcing the player to chose.
And since there two different games that can get this DLC, there are certain Pokemon that can be found in Sword and Shield. Sword players find Bagon, Shelgon, and Salamence while, Shield players get Gible, Gabite, and Garchomp. I only add this because these are very loved Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon. That is also very disappointing since I’m a sword player.
