How to get an Heirloom in Apex Legends

With a much higher player count of 100 million players most likely new players or returning ones to Apex. Here is a Guide on how to get the different melee cosmetics in Apex Legends.

How to purchase Heirlooms

To get an Heirloom you first need to obtain 150 heirloom shards the currency to buy said Heirloom. There is no way for you to purchase these individually you must use the Apex Legends loot box system to get the shards. One Apex pack holds three items of random rarity, 30 packs guarantee one legendary item and 500 packs will give you shards to buy an Heirloom. This isn’t an estimate done by fans, Respawn has promised Heirloom shards for 500 packs opened.

The fastest way to 500 Apex packs!

If you do not want to wait to open all those packs you can purchase Apex packs to speed up the process. If you buy 100$ of Apex coins you’ll get 11,500 coins this equals 115 Apex packs. With these numbers, you’d need to buy 500$ worth of apex coins to immediately get 500 packs. Though it is possible to get Heirloom Shards before opening 500 packs your chances are 1%.

How many Heirlooms are there?

There is a total of 9 sets of Heirlooms for different legends.

  • Wraith
  • Bloodhound
  • Gibraltar
  • Lifeline
  • Caustic
  • Bangalore
  • Mirage
  • Octane
  • Pathfinder

These are the only Legends that have Heirlooms out of the other 8. Still expect the other legends to get Heirlooms in future Collection events.
