Tomorrow Niantic’s Halloween event starts featuring Mega Banette, costumed Pokémon, and the shiny releases of Galarian Yamsak and Noibat. Here’s everything you need to know for this event.
Date and start time
Like last years Halloween event we’ll be getting two different parts. Part one will start on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday October 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Immediately after part one is finished part two will begin. Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. local time both parts will be finished. Good thing this event lasts long, it’ll give us all enough time to get some of the new shiny Pokémon.
Event details and bonuses
These are the active bonuses during both parts of the event
- 2x catch candy
- 2x hatch candy
- 2x transfer candy
- trainers level 31 or higher will one guaranteed candy XL when walking with their buddy
Trainers can also purchase tickets to get limited time research. Ticket 1(Costs $1) gives encounters with Galarian Yamask, and ticket 2(Costs $5) gives you a new avatar item and tasks to earn more candy. You’ll be able to purchase one or both tickets.
Wild, Egg, and Raid spawns
No costumed Pokémon will be appearing in part one, only during part two will we get the new costumed Pokémon. Overall though spawns will not really change that much.
